• The property will be used solely for residential vacation purposes
• You will not exceed the maximum occupancy listed for the property
• You are responsible for all guests staying at the property

3. Payment Terms

Payment policies include:

• A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking
• Balance payments are due according to the booking platform's policies
• Security deposits may be required and are refundable subject to property inspection
• Cleaning fees are non-refundable and required for all stays
• Additional fees may apply for extra guests, pets, or special services

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies vary by property and booking platform. Please review the specific cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking. We recommend travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will be processed according to the applicable cancellation policy.

5. House Rules

All guests must comply with the following general rules:

• Respect quiet hours (typically 10 PM - 8 AM) and neighborhood noise ordinances
• No parties, events, or gatherings beyond registered guests without prior approval
• No smoking inside any property (designated outdoor areas may be available)
• Pets are only allowed at pet-friendly properties with prior approval and applicable fees
• Follow all property-specific rules provided in the welcome guide
• Report any damages or maintenance issues immediately

6. Check-In and Check-Out

Standard check-in and check-out procedures:

• Check-in time is typically 4:00 PM (property-specific times will be provided)
• Check-out time is typically 10:00 AM (property-specific times will be provided)
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and may incur additional fees
• Self check-in instructions will be provided prior to arrival
• Guests must return all keys, remotes, and access devices upon departure

Guests are responsible for:

• Treating the property with care and respect
• Any damages caused during the stay beyond normal wear and tear
• Replacement costs for lost keys, remotes, or other property items
• Cleaning fees for excessive mess or violations of house rules
• Any fines or penalties resulting from violations of local ordinances

8. Limitation of Liability

Island City Vacation Rentals and its owners shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, or any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our properties or services. Guests acknowledge that vacation rentals may have inherent risks including but not limited to pools, hot tubs, stairs, and outdoor areas. Guests use all amenities at their own risk.

9. Force Majeure

Island City Vacation Rentals shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, hurricanes, government actions, pandemics, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will work with guests to reschedule or provide appropriate refunds.

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Some properties may have exterior security cameras for safety purposes, which will be disclosed in the property listing.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Broward County, Florida.
